Job Opening: IT Director – Infrastructure

My client a growing online retailer in Doral is seeking a hands on IT Director of Infrastructure to lead their team.

This IT Director will report directly to the CIO, responsible for day to day operations of the IT department, and providing leadership necessary to maintain and optimize the IT Infrastructure supporting a 24/7 eCommerce sites based on Microsoft and Linux. This role will be 50% hands on 50% management.

 

Hands on responsibilities:

– Configure and maintain Windows 2012 R2, 2008 environment, and Linux environment

– Microsoft Exchange 2010 migration to Office 365

– VMWARE Administration/ Virtualization Deployments

– Maintain Datacenter for credit card transactions through configuration of VMware vCenter 6.0

– Achieve PCI Compliance

– Active Directory, DNS DHCP

– Storage Administration

– Microsoft SQL 2008/2012

– Network Administration, ensuring 99.98% uptime.

– Cisco/HP/Juniper/(Routers/Switches)

– Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls

The IT Business Analyst will effectively communicate organizational needs to the appropriate IT team and will apply personal and technical skills to identify, analyze and communicate business processes, business requirements and business rules in a complex, multi-system environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner or equivalent experience in both agile and waterfall software development environments.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal team skills
  • Solid experience authoring various forms of requirement documentation including Vision Documents, Business Requirement Documents, Use Cases and User Stories
  • Business process modeling experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with cruise, airline or hotel electronic distribution systems, including core user and system interfaces

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical business experience is required. Business Analyst and Scrum professional certifications are a plus.
